The Challenge

Latin American gaming was entering a revolution with new regulations and a growing player base. PlayGreen's team aimed to tackle the industry focused on unique gameplay, strong infrastructure and world class design.

We need to compete with massive competitors on product & agility in a complex, regulated environment.

  1. A complex market across geographies, languages, preferences and regulations

  2. Heavily funded legacy competition whose grip would be hard to break

  3. Significant use of older phone models would require a flexible frontend experience


  4. The real-time nature of a casino games and live betting would require various integrations with a technical approach that ensured quality and consistency


The Solution

With a highly collaborative and hands on approach, we working directly with PlayGreen's technical resources to acclereate a success market entry and eventually, served over 1 million customers.

  1. Market & customer analysis: Sports betting and iGaming are highly competitive with various products being offered across Latin America. We augmented their teams market views with an assessment of market gaps and opportunity. Beyond the market, we mapped the entire customer journey of today to highlight key pain points.

  2. Product design: Our analysis showed that the market was littered with copycat user experiences. Alongside actual players we tested new interactive gameplay that would drive adoption and retention.


  3. Strong architecture & dev-ops: Long term technical advantage was key to PlayGreen. How could they, in the long term, out iterate competitors? This meant outlining key strategies to deliver accelerated deployments, automated testing and modern architectures unmatched by legacy incumbents. We also advised that we should develop a PWA vs pure native as a result of trends in their target geographies.

  4. Rapid development: Leveraging our product planning and architecture we deploy a 12 person project team to develop and launch the PlayGreen app and management platform. Since then, we've worked directly with internal teams to expand develop new innovations.
